Dreaming of cruising through the city on your skateboard? Of shredding your local skatepark? Learning new tricks? Say no more.
We are offering gxrl skateboarding courses for beginners and intermediates (age >14). Every Monday from 18:30 – 20:30 @ Byrrrh & Skate (Rue des Goujons 160).
Practical info
- We work with a monthly contribution of €70 for 4 classes.
- In the exceptional case of when a month is counting 3 or 5 classes, you will be informed via e-mail that the height of the contribution will be exceptionally adjusted.
- Payment is done via direct debit.
- Your contribution starts from the day you subscribe and ends on the day you unsubscribe.
- Your subscription will automatically be renewed each month until you unsubscribe.
- You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us via e-mail. (Mentioning it to one of the teachers during class does not count as unsubscribing!)
- It’s not possible to get a refund for missed courses!
- There is an obligatory insurance to cover yourself for accidents that might happen during the course. This insurance costs €20 and covers you for 1 year.
- If you need any gear (skateboard, helmet, protection), you can borrow BX’elles’ material at the skatepark!

Can I try one of your classes before subscribing?

Just know that during our classes it’s obliged to have insurance, which costs 20€. But if you only want to do a tryout you can choose: if you take the insurance you will be covered for the rest of the year, or you can do the tryout without the insurance, but in that case skating is at own risk!
I don’t have a skateboard, do you have any gear I could use?
If you need any gear (skateboard, helmet, protection), you can borrow BX’elles’ material at the skatepark!
I paid my contribution, but I didn’t attend all classes. Can I get a refund of my missed classes?
It’s not possible to get a refund for missed courses! That is why we suggest you to unsubscribe when you know you will not be able to attend future classes. You can unsubscribe at any given moment by informing us via e-mail.
If I unsubscribe before the final class of the month, do I get a refund of the classes that are left that month?
Yes, you do. Just remember to unsubscribe officially (via the website and by sending an email) and send your bank account with it.
If I want to subscribe after the first class of the month, do I also have to pay for the classes that took place before I subscribed?
The direct debit function will oblige you to pay the full contribution. However, if you contact us via e-mail and send us your bank account, we can subtract the price of the classes that took place before your subscription.
For example: The month has 4 classes, but you subscribed by the end of the second week, which made you miss the first 2 classes of the month. In that case your contribution would be exceptionally adjusted to €35 instead of €70.
Note: We only give refunds for classes that took place while you were not subscribed! As long as you are subscribed, you cannot get a refund for missed classes.
I told the teacher I can’t come to future classes, but I stayed subscribed. How come?
Mentioning this kind of information to one of the teachers during class does not count as unsubscribing. You have to unsubscribe via the website and send an e-mail as our administration is not necessarily handled by the same person that is teaching.
