BX’elles is a female skatecrew that was founded in 2019 by four friends in Brussels. Our aim was to inspire and motivate gxrls that skateboarding has no boundaries when it comes to gender, age or level.
We started by creating our own instagram page and sharing many skate clips of us and our friends skating in Brussels. The response was overwhelming! Such a small gesture brought a wave of questions from other gxrls asking if they could join our sessions or if we also offer workshops/classes/initiations. It gave us such a huge boost to see the Brussels skateboarding community growing and up until today we keep pushing our decks towards female empowerment and unity.
